The Studio is a small music studio that specialises in the singing voice, poetry, Radio Adverts, royalty-free music, supermarket announcements, instrumentalists, and music production. The Studio is South Yorkshire’s leading sound studio providing a professional, creative atmosphere at competitive prices.

Our resident engineers, Ken Sturt, who owns The Studio and Mick McManis who is one of the best engineers around, have over 50 years of recording and performing experience between them, will help you to get the best possible results from your recording and mixing sessions.

We also produce music for funerals, functions, weddings, first dances, and other special occasions.

VINYL, we can put your old LPs and singles onto CDs or memory stick for you.

SONGWRITER? Bring your original idea to us and we will create a song for you to be proud of as a demo or just for your family to enjoy.
We can come to your venue to record your Choir or special event we can also video the event too
If you are a musician or vocalist come to us. Since we have a wealth of knowledge, we can help you get the most out of your performance.
NEW VIDEO SERVICE, We can now video you singing at the microphone for you to upload to Social Media for a lot less than you think.
Clients include the NHS, major DIY chains and Heart FM radio, we produce jingles and adverts. We have state-of-the-art industry-standard equipment including Neumann Microphones. Our resident sound engineer Mick has many years of live and studio mixing and engineering experience. We are now using Cubase 12.5 the time stretch, time warp and audio tuning capabilities making most singers sound very professional.
